Eee PC 900電池 華碩︰純屬誤會 免費升級

ASUS 上週六於香港全球首賣第二代 8.9 吋 Eee PC 900 ，出現了電池風波，有消費者向華碩投訴並認為有欺騙成份。據華碩表示，由於樣本疏失令給予香港區媒體的 Eee PC 900 誤用了 5800mAh 電池，實際應為 4400mAh 電池，但華碩考量到香港市場客戶的利益，將免費升級以回饋用家。

ASUS 上週六於旺角銀城廣場舉行全球 Eee PC 900 全球首賣，延續第一代 Eee PC 的氣勢，首賣會未開始已出現百人長龍，單日千台全數沽清，部份無法取得現貨的消費者更只能即場預定，氣勢一時無倆。

但有消費者卻發現拿回家的 Eee PC 900 電池與媒體所報導的規格不符，並向華碩提出抗議，認為華碩有意誤導消息者，貨不對版。

據瞭解，華碩向香港媒體提供的 Eee PC 900 樣本，採用了 5800mAh 的高容量電池，但正式發售的版本卻是 4400mAh 電池，容量相差約四份之一，電池續航力有顯注差異。

就此事向華碩求證，華碩指出此仍樣本疏失，誤將高容量 5800mAh 電池交予媒體評測，造成消費者誤會附連電池為 5800mAh 電池，但實際香港發售的版本應為 4400mAh 電池。

華碩表示，由於是樣本錯誤，因此願負起全部負任，首賣日發售的 Eee PC 900 消費者，將獲提供免費更換 5800mAh 高容量電池，更換電池的詳細事宜將在日內公佈。

由於 $3998 港元的售價是以 4400mAh 為考量，但明白到香港市場對電池續航力十分重視，因此下一批 Eee PC 900 採用 5800mAh 電池，會否因應電池容量提升而作出適當的價錢調整則仍在考慮中。
